Skin conditions range from short-lived rashes caused by viruses to indicators of underlying skeletal deformity or neurologic abnormality to signaling life threatening illness. Part of pediatric training is learning the skin findings associated with skin disease affecting youth. We evaluate and treat dermatologic conditions including acne, rashes, nevi (moles), eczema, birthmarks, warts, molluscum contagiosum, pigmented lesions, ringworm, skin infections, sport related rashes, scalp conditions, etc.  For those serious conditions requiring biopsy, imaging for underlying abnormality, or workup for genetic/neurologic  disorders we can guide you through the process and to the best pediatric specialists.
