Studies reveal that anywhere from 10 to 25 percent of all recognized pregnancies will end in miscarriage or spontaneous abortion. These are usually because of a chromosomal abnormalities, improper cell division, or problems with hormonal signals that maintain pregnancy.
During this time, you should seek medical care for:
1). Uncontrolled pain
2). Heavy bleeding (consistently saturating more than 1 maxipad per hour)
3). A fever (temperature greater than 100.4 F)
4). Questions regarding your blood type (if you have a negative blood type or are uncertain)
5). Emotional concerns with grief or loss of the baby
6). Any other questions or concerns
