A well woman examination is an exam offered to review important elements of your reproductive health. It is recommended once a year for most women. The exam includes a breast examination, a pelvic examination and a pap smear but may also include other procedures depending on your overall health and specific risk factors.
The exam also focuses on preventive care and is an opportunity for you to discuss with your provider any questions you may have about your health.
