I’ve been practicing medicine for nearly 15 years, and throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to gain a wide variety of experiences. After completing my residency in 2010, I’ve worked in clinics, as a hospitalist, in ERs, and in urgent care settings. For nine years, I delivered babies, and while I no longer practice obstetrics, that chapter gave me valuable skills and insights. My training also included upper and lower endoscopy, which I’ve continued to perform as a family physician. These experiences allow me to care for patients across all stages of life—from newborns to the elderly.
I enjoy practicing full-scope family medicine, but I have particular interests in gastroenterology, sports medicine, diabetes management, and cardiovascular health. Like most family physicians, I believe in treating the whole person, considering both physical and emotional well-being in my approach to care. Recently, I’ve also been involved in clinical trials with Javarra, which has been an exciting way to contribute to advancing patient care.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and four kids—three boys and a daughter. We enjoy hiking, skiing, and being outdoors together. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching each of my kids in various sports, which has been a great way to stay connected and active. Growing up on a ranch in Colorado, I developed a lifelong love for the mountains. I enjoy being surrounded by nature.
