I grew up in Mexico City and have resided in Utah since 2007.
My wife and I have three children of our own. We enjoy spending time together, playing sports, board games, reading, and watching movies. I enjoy swimming, playing soccer, reading, and practicing Muay Thai.
Raising a family has made me a better provider because of what I have learned as a parent. As a father, I know how enjoyable and challenging it is to be a parent, especially when children get sick. I believe the early years of life are critical to fostering healthy habits that can be carried throughout one’s life. I hope to help you and your child when you need it most and partner with you to foster healthy habits.
I have always been interested in medicine. As a young child, I cared for my siblings during their illnesses. When my brother had his appendix taken out, my mom would get nauseated when cleaning his wound, so I offered to do it. I thought it was great to be able to help. This and other experiences in life encouraged me to pursue medicine as a career.
Pediatrics is a field that has always amazed me. If a child can start as healthy as possible and remain as healthy as possible through the early years, they can build healthy habits they can carry with them into their later years. Children can bring smiles and joy even in the worst of moments.
I am also a native Spanish speaker and enjoy communicating with parents and children in their native language to provide the best care possible.
