About Matthew Cameron, DO

Living in every corner of the United States and parts in between has been an adventure. I started my medical journey at Utah State, then attended medical school in Maine. I completed Naval Flight Surgeon training in Florida after an internship in Virginia, followed by subsequent duty stations in San Diego and Ventura County, California. After eight years of active Navy service, I transitioned to the Air National Guard (ANG) in California, followed by Oregon while in civilian private practice in California, then Washington, before returning to Utah.

My experience with military medicine and private practice has given me a wealth of knowledge, including in the field of sports medicine. Sports and military medicine share many similarities, including understanding what an individual needs to perform at their peak level. I have been involved in many sports and activities myself and have recovered from my share of injuries, which provides a better understanding of the problems everyday people and athletes experience. I have treated athletes at all levels, including little league, club, high school, collegiate, and professional (even NFL pro bowlers and World Series winners), plus weekend warriors, masters, and senior athletes.

Helping patients recover from acute and chronic conditions is my goal. I provide comprehensive non-surgical musculoskeletal care utilizing musculoskeletal ultrasound, therapeutic injections, OMT (Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment), and the latest regenerative techniques.
