I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Brigham Young University in 1998 and worked for several years as a Registered Nurse. I knew that a medical career was right for me when I discovered that I could remain completely calm and logical in very stressful situations, such as busy ICUs and Emergency Rooms.

So I returned to BYU to earn a Masters Degree in Nursing as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I joined Canyon View Medical Group in 2003 and have really enjoyed working in the Springville office where I was the only female provider for several years.

One of my favorite work memories is that of an older gentleman who expressed tearful appreciation at the care I had provided to his wife. His potent love and dedication to her was inspiring.
