I fell in love with pediatrics working in a small-town clinic in Prescott, Arizona. There, I met doctors who cared for entire families, and I knew I wanted to do the same. In my residency training at the University of Utah and Primary Children's Hospital, I had the privilege of caring for children and their families in some of their best and most challenging moments. As your pediatrician, I will be there for you and your family as well. As medicine becomes more complex each day, I will be your partner in navigating it back to what matters most--your child.

Becoming a mother has transformed my views on patient care, and I strive to be the pediatrician that I would want for my own child. I cherish working with new parents, as they learn to care for their newborn babies. Another of my favorite responsibilities is helping adolescents take ownership of their health and their bodies as they transition into adulthood.

When I am not at work, I love being outside. Growing up in Arizona, I love the sunshine, so any sunny day is a great day! My favorite activities are hiking, backpacking, and taking long road trips with my family, camping out in the back of the truck. But on a buggy evening, you will find me zipped up into my sleeping bag, hiding behind bug nets.
